Pedal For Hope a success at our school !!!!
April 23rd the Pedal for Hope team came to our school. Over $10,400 was raised by our school for this year's campaign. So proud of my school !!!
Next year will be year 10 for Pedal for Hope in Peterborough....can't wait to see what we can raise for next year.

I wish no one had cancer.
And I want my wish to come true. However, my Mom and Dad told me I wasn't allowed to cut my hair at school for charity this year (something about me being bald until I was three and that my hair grows a bit slow) - so instead they promised to help me with my own fundraiser.
I am six years old and one of my favourite things to do is to make crafts. This fall I learned how to make wonderful wind spinner ornaments in a variety of colours that are great for many different occasions.
My plan is to sell these ornaments to you, friends and family. All of the proceeds of the sale of my ornaments will be split evenly between the Children's Wish Foundation for kids coping with cancer and the Canadian Cancer Society for paediatric cancer research.
My goal this year is to raise the equivalent of the purchase price of an iPad, something that would bring a lot of smiles to a kid my age going through cancer treatments.
